Club member Gerald Sullivan announced his candidacy for a run for our 23rd State Assembly Seat, currently held by Democrat and 20 year incumbent Audrey Pheffier. Press release to follow.

A vote was taken and term limits of two years were approved as an addition to our by-laws for all officer positions except Chairman and Treasurer. Both Chairman and Treasurer positions will still remain open to a challenge, as with any other elective position, but term limits will not apply to them.

Also, all members were requested to consider running for officer positions and or positions on our executive board (5 positions)

For those members not present last night, we ask that you, too, please consider running to fill one of these positions. We are especially anxious to have those positions, now empty (secretary, treasurer, sergeant at arms) filled no matter what. Please email me at tlynch12@nyc.rr.com so your name can be added to the list of those running for office at our upcoming March 11th meeting . All candidates will then be presented to our members for a vote. Also for the ease of scheduling, we will meet the second Tuesday of the month for the next three months March 11th , April 8th , May 13th so mark your calendars.
